FreeRIP is basically freeware audio converting software that helps in the conversion of audio CD tracks into MP3’s, Ogg Vorbis, WMA, FLAC or WAV. It is also very helpful for the conversion of any files of two supported formats. It can play audio files and edit tags as well. FreeRIP is also an MP3 tagger; it supports CD texts and online CD databases like freedb.org and FreeRip CD BD.
In addition, The FreeRIP also offers the advanced features like the capability of ripping multiple CD tracks to one MP3 file. It incorporates a short-cut menu for making search, to make it easier to find videos, images, lyrics and information about the latest CD and track names of the songs and the artists.
The user interface is spontaneous with a toolbar with huge icons and a main window that is serialized into two different parts, the first one list out the tracks while the second part gives out the specific information on every track present in the list. FreeRIP is known to be very user-friendly because it has an interface that supports multiple languages which include Turkish, English, German, Spanish, Catalan, Norwegian, Italian, Portuguese and the users have choices of two versions.
